Updates & corrections
Official follow-up updates and material factual corrections are published with date, changed fields and an explanation.
A correction is considered when a material number, effective date, legal status, person or institution, quotation, or link to primary evidence is wrong. Style edits and a later difference in interpretation are not labeled as factual corrections.
When new official evidence extends an existing story, the original publication time is preserved and an update is added to the revision record. Evidence that reverses a prior conclusion must be explained so readers can see what changed and why it matters.
If a correction cannot restore evidence integrity, the article may be unpublished and related automation may be suspended. Repeated quality deterioration can trigger automatic demotion to Staging or an Emergency Hold.
An error report should identify the article, the exact sentence at issue and a primary-source link. Do not include passwords, API keys, confidential records or unnecessary personal information.
No public update or correction history is currently recorded.
